Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a remote Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead projects across engineering, scheduling, budgeting and documentation.

You will oversee CMiC systems, prepare bid packages, and coordinate with engineering, accounting, construction and legal teams to define LNTP scopes of work. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of construction experience, background in energy storage, and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage remote

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of energy storage construction experience.
• 5+ years construction experience in roles such as Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• 2+ years scheduling and estimating experience.
• Engineering/Construction Management/Architectural degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain all aspects of the CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages and solicit and evaluate bids.
• Write project procedures.
• Review plans for completeness and accuracy.
• Supervise and train Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to create contract scopes of work.
• Define and create LNTPs and monitor design constraints and lead times.
• Maintain timely reporting to project team and management, including cost forecasting and EAC.
• Manage project risk and mitigation plans with operations management.
