Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Remote Preconstruction Project Manager to lead a single major project, coordinating with engineering, scheduling, budgeting, and procurement teams.

You will drive cost control, prepare bid packages, and ensure timely reporting while aligning with LNTP scope and owner requirements. The role requires 3+ years in energy storage construction, a relevant degree, and strong leadership in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Energy storage construction experience required.
• Leadership in remote team environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with scheduling and estimating activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Preconstruction Project Manager responsibilities.
• Maintain cost control ledger and project cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages and evaluate bids.
• Write project procedures.
• Review plans for completeness and accuracy.
• Supervise Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff.
• Ensure procurement aligns with budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with BD, engineering, accounting, construction and legal to define scopes of work.
• Understand design constraints and long-lead procurement items.
• Define and create LNTPs.
• Research design requirements (internal/owner/permit).
• Track schedule and budget changes with Engineering Manager; report to Project Executive.
• Represent SOLV Energy in owner meetings.
• Support estimating reconciliation for design iterations.
• Maintain timely reporting on cost forecasting and projected costs.
