Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking a dependable, full-time Customer Service Representative-WFH for a contract/temporary opportunity in energy utilities. Support customers with billing, service requests, and account updates from a secure home workspace.

This remote role emphasizes problem solving, strong communication, and reliability, with structured training and clear performance metrics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Typing 60–65 WPM.
• Must have wired internet with at least 75 Mbps down and 15 Mbps up.
• Must have a secure, private home workspace with proper ergonomic setup.
• Must complete a CSR aptitude assessment.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls regarding bills, service requests, and accounts.
• Process moves, transfers, refunds, and payments.
• Investigate billing concerns and escalate as needed.
• Initiate service orders and guide customers to self-service channels.
• Refer customers to Energy Assistance programs and other resources.
• Meet call center metrics and deadlines in a remote setting.
