Job summary

Franklin Energy is seeking an Energy Auditor - Virtual to remotely inspect buildings, analyze energy use, and provide recommendations to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. You will educate customers on rebates and energy-saving devices and deliver comprehensive audit reports.

Role combines data review, virtual walkthroughs, and clear communication with utility clients. Some field support may be required, with a focus on accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• Two years of related work experience preferred.
• 1-2 years in marketing, community organizing, education, customer service or related field; virtual experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review data prior to appointments (building info, energy usage, photos) to identify preliminary efficiency opportunities.
• Deliver remote virtual energy auditing services by phone, text or video chat.
• Explain audit findings and rebate options clearly to building owners.
• Instruct on installing energy-saving devices (lighting, thermostats, insulation).
• Prepare audit reports with results and recommendations for improved energy efficiency.
• Assist in improving program operations and delivery; drive quality and productivity.
