Franklin Energy is seeking an Energy Auditor - Virtual to inspect buildings remotely, assess energy use, and recommend efficiency improvements. The role involves guiding customers through rebate programs and the utility's demand-side management initiatives, primarily in a remote capacity.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or equivalent, with experience in energy efficiency, building science or HVAC-related fields, plus strong communication and data-entry skills. Travel is <10%.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• Residential building construction or HVAC install/repair experience preferred.
• Certifications in energy efficiency (HEP, Building Analyst, Envelope) encouraged.
• Two years of related work experience required.
• 1-2 years in marketing, community education or customer service is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Review data prior to appointments to identify opportunities for efficiency and savings.
• Provide virtual energy auditing services via phone, text or video chat.
• Explain energy usage findings and rebates to customers clearly.
• Instruct customers on installation of energy-saving devices and processes.
• Prepare audit reports with results and improvement recommendations.
• Maintain required paperwork and comply with safety rules.
