Franklin Energy is seeking a remote energy auditor to deliver virtual energy assessments to utility customers, analyzing data to identify efficiency opportunities and promote savings. The role involves guiding customers through energy usage improvements and documenting audit findings.

The position requires an Associate degree or equivalent with related experience; travel up to 10% may be needed to support field activities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required with relevant energy efficiency credentials.
• Two years of related work experience; virtual experience preferred.
• BPI Fundamentals or higher certification is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review data and identify opportunities for efficiency and savings before appointments.
• Deliver professional virtual energy auditing services via phone, text, or video chat.
• Conduct energy assessments of properties (living space, attic, basement) to identify saving opportunities.
• Provide energy efficiency education and explain rebate options to customers.
