Franklin Energy is seeking an Energy Auditor - Virtual to conduct remote energy assessments, identify savings, and guide customers through rebates and program options. You’ll review data, perform virtual walkthroughs, and explain findings clearly while promoting energy efficiency measures.

The role emphasizes strong communication, technical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a primarily remote setting with occasional field support.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Certifications or designations in energy efficiency are a plus (HEP, BPI).
• Two years of related work experience; virtual auditing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual energy audits via video, phone, or chat.
• Review data before appointments to identify opportunities for savings.
• Explain energy assessment findings and rebate options to customers.
• Instruct on installing energy saving devices and products.
• Prepare audit reports with recommendations for efficiency improvements.
• Maintain records and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Occasional field support as needed.
