Job summary

Franklin Energy seeks an Energy Auditor - Virtual to inspect buildings remotely, assess energy use, and recommend efficiency improvements. You will guide customers on installing energy-saving devices and explain rebates, delivering comprehensive audit reports.

Applicants should have an associate degree or equivalent and experience in energy efficiency, with strong communication skills for a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Two years of related work experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in marketing, community organizing, education, customer service or a related field – virtual experience preferred.
• Residential building construction or HVAC knowledge.
• BPI Fundamentals or above.

Responsibilities

• Review data and analyze energy usage to identify opportunities for efficiency and savings.
• Deliver virtual energy auditing services via phone, text and video chat.
• Initiate conversations and build rapport with utility customers in a virtual setting.
• Perform virtual walk-throughs identifying energy-saving opportunities and rebates.
• Educate end users on energy efficiency and rebate programs.
• Explain audit findings and advise on installation of energy-saving devices.
• Prepare audit reports with results and recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to improve program operations and customer satisfaction.
