Job summary

Globaltize seeks an experienced Employment Litigation Attorney to join a fully remote California-focused plaintiff-side practice. The attorney will manage cases from filing to resolution, handling discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes and more.

The role requires active California State Bar membership, at least 5 years of CA employment litigation experience, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating with a distributed team.

Qualifications

• Active California State Bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years of California employment litigation experience; plaintiff, defendant, or both.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage employment litigation matters and develop case strategies.
• Experience drafting motions, pleadings, briefs, and discovery requests.
• Hands-on experience taking and defending depositions.

Responsibilities

• Manage California employment litigation cases from filing through resolution.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies with firm leadership when appropriate.
• Draft and review complaints, motions, briefs, discovery requests and settlement demands.
• Conduct written discovery and respond to discovery requests.
• Take and defend depositions and prepare clients and witnesses.
