Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking an Employee Relations Business Partner to guide leaders on disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and terminations, while conducting less complex risk investigations.

The ERBP partners with HR, Legal, and operations to deliver consistent, values-aligned guidance, manages multiple cases, and uses data insights to drive timely issue resolution in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with HR experience and a comfort with confidential matters.
• Experience advising leaders on disciplinary actions, PIPs, and terminations.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Advise leaders on employee relations matters with strong listening and investigative skills.
• Support reviews of disciplinary actions, PIPs, and involuntary termination requests using Workday and ServiceNow.
• Collaborate with ER, HRBP, Legal to ensure consistent, compliant, and values-aligned decisions.
• Interpret policies and educate employees and stakeholders on processes.
• Lead and track cases in the case management system and Ethics Hotline.
• Analyze trends and identify opportunities to improve ER processes.
• Travel up to 25% and support remote operations with occasional meetings.
