Insurance Office of America, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager – Employee Benefits to oversee client service, renewals, and team leadership for a book of employee benefits accounts. This remote role supports Eastern/Central time zones with on‑site requirements where needed, including Longwood, FL.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in the field and active licensing. You will drive client satisfaction, coordinate with coordinators, identify growth opportunities, and ensure compliant, high‑quality

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Active licensing required.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational, delegation, and decision‑making skills.
• High accuracy in handling large work volumes.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business and ensure performance requirements are met.
• Deliver outstanding service, anticipate client needs, and respond quickly to requests.
• Lead the account team with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Direct daily activities of Account Coordinators and monitor execution.
• Identify and act on sales opportunities to grow IOA business.
• Oversee new business setup, data gathering, and education of clients and employees.
• Manage renewals by verifying data and coordinating with clients and carriers.
• Build and improve client relationships and seek feedback for improvements.
• Advocate for clients and carriers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Identify and implement value‑added solutions for clients.
• Support team training and development, promoting a positive work environment.
• Maintain transparent communication with Producers and team members.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards.
