Insurance Office Of America is seeking an Account Manager – Employee Benefits for a remote role serving Eastern and Central time zones, with potential on-site support at branch locations as needed. You will lead Account Coordinators, manage client relationships, and drive service excellence.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in the industry, active licensure, and strong skills in client service, communication, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Active licensing required.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational, delegation, and decision-making abilities.
• High accuracy in handling large volumes of work.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business and meet performance requirements.
• Deliver outstanding client service and respond quickly to requests.
• Lead the account team with guidance and professionalism.
• Direct daily activities of Account Coordinators and assign tasks.
• Identify and act on sales opportunities to grow IOA business.
• Manage new business setup including data gathering and notifications.
• Coordinate renewals, verify data, obtain rates and audits.
• Build strong client relationships and seek improvements.
• Advocate for clients and carriers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Identify value-added solutions and support professional development.
• Maintain transparent communication with Producers and team.
• Ensure compliance with policies and industry standards.
