Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) seeks an Account Manager - Employee Benefits to oversee client service and account management for a portfolio of employees benefits plans. This role involves directing daily tasks of Account Coordinators, maintaining strong client relationships, and pursuing sales opportunities under Producer guidance.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of industry experience, current active licensing, and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Active professional license is required.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational, delegation, and decision-making skills.
• High accuracy in handling large work volumes.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business and ensure performance requirements are met.
• Deliver outstanding client service and respond quickly to requests.
• Lead the account team with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Direct daily activities of Account Coordinator(s) and assign tasks.
• Identify and act on sales opportunities to grow IOA business.
• Manage new business setup including data gathering and client education.
• Oversee renewal process with client and carrier coordination.
