Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager – Employee Benefits to handle client service, renewals, and day‑to‑day management of a Benefits book. This role includes leading Account Coordinators, driving service quality, and identifying sales opportunities to grow IOA’s book of business.

You will work under Producer direction, ensuring accurate data management, process implementation, and compliant, high‑quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Active radiating licensing current in the insurance field.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational, delegation, and decision‑making abilities.
• High accuracy in handling large workloads.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business and ensure performance targets are met.
• Deliver outstanding client service, anticipate needs, communicate professionally.
• Lead the account team and coordinate daily tasks for Account Coordinators.
• Direct daily activities, assign tasks, set expectations, monitor results.
• Identify and act on sales opportunities to grow IOA business.
• Oversee new business setup, data gathering, and onboarding processes.
• Manage renewals with data checks, rate review, and carrier liaison.
• Build and improve client relationships and gather feedback for improvements.
• Advocate for clients and carriers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Identify and implement value‑added solutions for clients.
• Support team training and promote a positive work environment.
• Maintain transparent communication with Producers and team members.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards.
• Champion IOA core values and demonstrate integrity and leadership.
