Job summary

Sur La Table is seeking an Email & SMS Associate to learn our campaigns from the ground up and grow into ownership. You will build, QA, and send campaigns to a large retail audience, collaborating with the CRM & Lifecycle Marketing Manager and production lead.

This early-career role emphasizes initiative, hands-on email experience, and a drive to learn. You will use Braze and other tools, with opportunities to influence daily program improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Recent grads encouraged to apply.
• 0–2 years hands-on email campaign experience in any CRM platform.
• Experience using AI to build, automate, or research something on your own.
• Strong attention to detail; catch mistakes before they go out.
• Able to receive feedback and improve rapidly.
• Stay organized and steady under deadlines, including peak seasons.
• Comfort with technical work and a willingness to learn HTML for email.
• Experience noted with multiple email platforms listed in the role.

Responsibilities

• Build email and SMS campaigns in Braze; manage assets and tracking.
• Own pre-send QA for rendering, links, pricing, and settings.
• Schedule and deploy daily campaigns with increasing ownership.
• Create briefs and tickets in Wrike to coordinate with teams.
• Collaborate daily with Creative, E-commerce, and Merchandising teams.
• Run A/B tests on subject lines, creative, and timing; share insights.
• Leverage AI tools to speed work and suggest improvements.
• Track open/click/conversion rates and flag performance issues.
