Job summary

HireHawk Inc. is seeking a highly organized Email & SMS Manager to own day-to-day retention marketing for a fully remote team. This contractor role reports to the Head of Growth and follows a Monday–Friday PST schedule.

You will build and manage our email and SMS calendar, develop flows like Welcome, Abandoned Cart, Winback, QA before launch, and analyze performance to drive revenue. Collaboration with the Head of Growth, Email Designer, and QA is essential, with independent project management

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Email & SMS experience, ideally within DTC/e-commerce.
• Strong copy and messaging instincts, even if not designing the emails.
• Comfortable working with Notion and Figma to create proposals and briefs.

Responsibilities

• Own the weekly and monthly Email & SMS calendar.
• Build and optimize lifecycle flows including Welcome, Abandoned Browse, Abandoned Cart, Checkout, Post-Purchase, Winback.
• Develop concepts, messaging, and segmentation for campaigns.
• Translate strategy into briefs for the Email Designer and ensure on-brief execution.
• QA campaigns before launch, and monitor performance post-launch.
• Provide weekly reporting with insights and recommendations.
