Job summary

SHI is seeking a Pre‑Sales Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer. This remote, customer‑facing security professional designs, positions, and articulates cybersecurity solutions that align with customer business objectives across modern enterprise, hybrid, and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with the ability to translate complex security concepts into clear business value.

Qualifications

3+ years of cybersecurity experience including pre‑sales, solutions architecture, or related roles.
Strong knowledge of email security: SEG, phishing defense, DLP, and data protection.
Ability to translate complex security concepts into business outcomes for executive audiences.
Experience supporting sales teams in a VAR, SI, or technology provider environment.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer goals and security challenges.
Assess customer security architectures for gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Develop high-level security architectures and solution proposals with supporting documentation.
Design scalable cybersecurity solutions aligned to customer requirements and best practices.
Present security solutions and value propositions to technical and executive audiences.
Support product demonstrations, whiteboard sessions, and technical briefings.
Collaborate with technology partners to validate proposed solutions.
Assist with PoCs to validate technical fitness and business value.
Provide security-focused training to internal sales teams.
Ensure smooth handoff to post-sales delivery teams after closure.
