Job summary
SHI International Corp. is seeking a Pre‑Sales Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer for a remote US role.
The position focuses on designing and positioning cybersecurity solutions across modern enterprise, hybrid, and cloud environments, enabling sales teams with deep technical expertise. The ideal candidate will translate complex security concepts into business outcomes, lead discovery sessions, and collaborate with technology partners to validate and refine proposed solutions.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity, pre-sales engineering, or solutions-architecture experience.
- Strong knowledge of email security technologies including phishing, BEC protection, SEG, API-based security, data loss prevention (DLP), and advanced threat protection.
- Proven ability to translate complex security concepts into business–relevant outcomes.
- Experience presenting and demonstrating security solutions to technical and executive audiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions to understand customer goals, security challenges, and environments.
- Design high-level security architectures and solution proposals.
- Demonstrate email security solutions from vendors such as Proofpoint, Mimecast, and Abnormal.
- Support PoC efforts and provide technical enablement to sales teams.
- Ensure smooth handoff to post‑sales delivery after closure.
