Job summary

Pearson’s English Language Learning Sales Representative is a remote, field-based role driving revenue growth by selling Pearsons digital and print ELL solutions to colleges, universities, and educators. It involves 65% travel, prospecting new accounts, and managing a Salesforce pipeline to meet growth targets.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of sales experience in education, resides in MD/VA/NC, holds a bachelor's degree, and is comfortable traveling 3–4 days/week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in adult education, higher education, or related market.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, CRM and mobile technologies.
• Willingness to travel 3-4 days per week and attend regional/national events.
• Reside in Maryland, North Carolina or Virginia.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Use in-person and virtual outreach to engage 15+ faculty members or decision-makers daily.
• Prospect and pursue new business opportunities.
• Strategically plan and manage territory and accounts to drive revenue growth.
• Present, sell, and negotiate Pearson's ELL solutions in all settings.
• Deliver product demos, onboarding, and training for adopter enablement.
• Manage pipeline, forecasting, and activity tracking in Salesforce.
• Stay current on Pearson products and trends in ELL.
• Build and maintain relationships with educators and partners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sales goals.
