Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Transmission Line Project Engineer to join our Power Delivery Team. This role leads the engineering of transmission projects up to 765 kV, coordinates across multi-disciplinary teams, and develops schedules and deliverables for clients.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Engineering, PE licensure, 5–7 years in transmission design and project leadership, and proficiency with PLS‑CADD, ArcGIS, AutoCAD/MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and PE licensure required.
• 5–7 years in transmission project design and leadership.
• Strong knowledge of NESC/RUS/GO-95.
• Proficient in PLS-CADD and related design tools.
• Excellent English written and oral communication.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel to client offices/field facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute transmission projects up to 765kV with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Develop project schedules and coordinate weekly meetings.
• Coordinate with clients on status and assist with forecasting.
• Support PMs with scope, schedule, and budget development.
• Assist department with staffing, recruitment, and process improvements.
• Adhere to QA/QC procedures and safety standards.
• Travel to client sites and field facilities as needed.
