Job summary

Reserv is seeking a Transportation Claims Total Loss Specialist to join our remote-first team. You will work with rental facilities, body shops, salvage vendors, and appraisers to manage the total loss settlement process and rental expenses, reviewing the valuation of the vehicle based on its type to resolve the claim efficiently and reviewing damage estimates to confirm vehicles are total losses.

Your role will also be responsible for handling an inventory of claims, triaging critical claims,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3+ years in transportation claims adjusting preferred.
• Active insurance adjuster’s license in home state or designated state.
• Willingness to travel and manage field engagements as needed.
• Strong knowledge of state regulations, policy provisions, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Handle total loss settlements with rental and salvage vendors and appraisers.
• Review vehicle valuations and damage estimates to determine total loss.
• Manage an inventory of claims and establish reserves as needed.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to suggest process improvements.
• Provide timely, courteous service to policyholders and claimants.
