Job summary

Start With Level, Inc. is seeking an experienced Claims Specialist to join our distributed team.

You will review and resolve automotive total loss claims using our cutting-edge tools, coordinating with carriers, adjusters, and third-party administrators to optimize settlements. Based in the United States with a remote/hybrid work setup, you will contribute to product development by feeding real-world claim outcomes back to engineering.

Qualifications

• Adjuster or appraiser licenses.
• 3+ years of automotive claims experience with total loss settlements and subrogation.
• Strong understanding of ACV calculations and valuation methodologies.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Comfort working with technology and flexible/hybrid work expectations.
• Knowledge of state insurance regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Resolve automotive total loss settlements with carriers, adjusters, and third-party administrators.
• Analyze claim data to identify opportunities to improve claim recovery and settlement outcomes.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to refine technology based on real-world outcomes.
• Maintain detailed documentation of negotiations and settlement rationales.
• Build and maintain relationships with carrier representatives and industry partners.
