Job summary

Aspire General Insurance Services LLC is seeking a Sr. Claims Support Specialist / Total Loss Adjuster in California. This role requires handling total loss claims, vehicle valuations, salvage coordination, and customer communication, under the Claims Department Supervisor.

Open to remote candidates in CA and other states, with a focus on accurate loss processing, regulatory compliance, and efficient service delivery. Background checks are required and bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5 yrs experience in Auto Insurance in California.
• Ability to learn and understand insurance industry practices, standards, and terminology preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Related insurance industry experience a plus.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Proficient use of Word, Excel, Outlook, Web-based systems, and type 35+ wpm.
• Must have a disciplined approach to all job-related activities.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions from customers concerning the claim handling process and insurance coverage.
• Handle all aspects of resolving total loss claims for carrier-retained and owner-retained salvage.
• Determine accurate total loss vehicle valuations.
• Provide customer service to insured parties, third-party claimants, and lienholders.
• Explain the total loss process and the value of total loss vehicles to customers.
• Negotiate total loss settlements with customers.
• Comply with state DMV laws about settlement of total loss vehicles.
• Manage salvage on total loss vehicles and coordinate with vendors.
• Review and process DMV forms and company-required documents.
