Job summary

Motorola Solutions, including the Silvus Technologies unit, is hiring a Technical Product Manager to drive requirements, product backlog, market adoption, and revenue growth for EW & Sensing solutions. The role bridges tactical mission needs with hardware and software execution, reporting to the Product Management Director.

The position is located at Silvus' Irvine, CA office with a hybrid schedule; remote work may be possible for US candidates, and travel up to 25–50% is required for field

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, RF Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in technical product management or systems engineering in defense, aerospace, or wireless.
• Strong knowledge of wireless communications, RF systems, signal processing, SDRs, mesh networking.
• Ability to translate high-level military/tactical use cases into technical requirements.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Translate tactical EW mission requirements into hardware configurations and software specs.
• Own NPI cycles for FASST Handheld and LSNRS product portfolios, ensuring UX excellence.
• Define edge-node operation of transceivers and coordinate with hardware/software teams.
• Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cadences for EW software features.
• Oversee lifecycle from concept to deployment and sustainment for Silvus products.
