Job summary

Jackson College is seeking a Student Success Navigator to support retention and completion of students under the Total Commitment to Student Success (TCS2) initiative. The role focuses on outreach, intervention, and caseload management to improve persistence and transfer outcomes.

The position involves collaborating with faculty and departments, maintaining accurate records, and occasionally traveling to correctional facilities to assist with student needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with related field preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage caseloads.

Responsibilities

• Manage individual caseload outreach, retention, and completion goals.
• Plan and implement retention related events and initiatives.
• Maintain records and report progress of departmental metrics.
• Coordinate handoffs with peer tutors and Center for Student Success.
• Travel to correctional facilities to support CEP program as needed.
• Engage with students via in-person, virtual, and on-campus interactions.
