Job summary

Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking a Full-Time Student Navigator for the Student Engagement division. The position will coordinate and implement student support services to help students persist in their programs of study at ATC's Main campus, just south of Downtown Atlanta.

The role reports to the Director of Student Success and requires a Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or equivalent, along with at least two years of related college experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or equivalent field plus 2 years of college-level experience.
• Associate’s degree with 3 years of related work experience accepted as alternative.
• Candidates should demonstrate ability to engage and retain students and support academic progress.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships across college teams to facilitate advisement and retention programs.
• Provide information on targeted career and educational pathways.
• Coordinate and deliver supportive services promoting persistence and success.
• Monitor attendance and progress; respond to TEAMS alerts.
• Track, report, and analyze retention data using Target X, Banner LMS, and other resources.
• Design and implement targeted interventions for student persistence.
• Train faculty and staff on retention services and processes.
• Engage in professional development and participate in the Student Navigator peer group.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
