Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identifies barriers that may impede academic success and determines individual learning style to enhance learning, study skills, and test taking skills.
• Identifies resources to enhance the student learning experience.
• Plans, coordinates, and provides educational offerings, remediation, exam review, and skills practice for students.
• Collaborates with faculty to track students who may be at risk due to academic and/or personal barriers.
• Collaborates with faculty in classroom, simulation lab, and skills lab setting to enhance the learning experience for students.
• Maintains up to date expertise in best practices to promote student success and attends nursing educational offerings and faculty meetings.
• Monitors, evaluates and modifies academic success processes and procedures to improve student retention and academic success including data collection on student outcomes for programmatic improvement.
• Serves as the main resource for coordinating student support, including, but not limited to academic support, mental health support, wellness initiatives, and retention support.
