Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA is seeking a Manager, Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive the growth of its corporate portfolio through strategic projects, digital health initiatives, and venture opportunities. You will regularly interact with management and may work remotely with travel to the Lake Zurich, IL headquarters.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in relevant roles with at least 2 years in BD/M&A/strategy and analytics, plus 3+ years in healthcare.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact.
• Demonstrated success in a highly complex, matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, sectors, companies/assets including startups across Fresenius business areas and identify targets for inorganic growth.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver corporate projects through due diligence, business case development, board approvals and execution.
• Prepare pitch documents for management to align and prioritize inorganic opportunities.
• Manage internal strategic portfolio analysis and recommend new business areas and target evaluations.
• Build valuations for target assets using DCF, NPV, and precedent analyses.
• Oversee inorganic opportunities through all phases: identify, evaluate, negotiate and execute.
• Present Fresenius as a preferred partner to external interfaces including consultants, brokers and investment banks.
• Support strategy discussions with market dynamics insights.
