Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA is seeking a Manager, Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive growth across the corporate portfolio through organic and inorganic projects, digital health, and emerging technologies. You will interact with management teams and may work remotely with travel to the Lake Zurich, IL headquarters.

Visa sponsorship is not available. The role requires strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate a complex matrix organization, with a target annual bonus of 10%

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with a minimum of 2 years in Business Development, M&A, Strategy and business analytics functions; 3+ years of experience in healthcare.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact.
• Demonstrated success in a highly complex, matrix organization.
• Comfortable/thrives in ambiguous/rapidly evolving situations.
• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel up to 15%, including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, sectors, companies/assets including startups across Fresenius business areas and identify targets for inorganic growth.
• Project management: lead and work closely with functional leads, business owners, regional heads and global teams to deliver corporate projects through due diligence, business case development, board approvals and execution.
• Prepare pitch documents for Fresenius management to create alignment and support prioritization for inorganic targets.
• Manage internal corporate portfolio analysis and recommendation of new business areas, target evaluations, scenario planning and modeling activities.
• Build valuations for target assets using DCF, NPV and precedent analysis.
• Manage strategic corporate projects through all phases including identifying, evaluating, negotiating and execution.
• Present Fresenius as a preferred partner to external interfaces such as consultants, brokers, and investment banks.
• Leverage key business insights to support strategy discussions and future direction.
