Job summary

ABB Drives Division seeks a senior business development professional to drive growth in the Motion Drive Products segment within the United States. You will lead brand and product acceptance, coordinate with Channel Sales, Channel Programs, and OEM teams, and define go-to-market approaches for Mining and Aggregates.

The role requires deep mining equipment knowledge, strong communication, and extensive travel (70%), with remote work options for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in capital sales in mining/aggregates or equivalent experience.
• Deep knowledge of mining equipment applications and processes.
• Proven ability to translate technical ideas for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Generate brand/product acceptance for ABB drives in mining/aggregates markets.
• Coordinate with Channel Sales, Channel Programs and OEM teams on programs.
• Document stakeholders and buying processes to support go-to-market efforts.
• Communicate product positioning to win ABB placement on AVL/Frame agreements.
• Leverage industry trends to develop compelling value propositions.
• Lead sub-segment strategy and GTM to achieve segment goals.
