Job summary

General Mills seeks a Senior Electrical & Controls Capital Senior Engineer to lead electrical, controls, and automation for NA capital projects. The role requires coordinating with plant teams, PMs, and external partners to deliver safe and maintainable solutions.

Remote eligible with travel around 50% and strong technical leadership. Responsibilities include scope definition, design reviews, installation support, startup readiness, and ensuring alignment with corporate standards and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with relevant experience.
• PMP certification is preferred and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management leadership on capital project installations with stakeholders.
• Lead electrical & controls design, installation, commissioning, and startup readiness.
• Coordinate scope, risk, and execution strategies across sites and initiatives.
• Review design work from external firms and ensure alignment with standards.
• Support documentation, bid reviews, and lessons learned.
