Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Consumer Finance Litigation Senior Counsel with at least eight years of relevant experience to join our nationwide platform. The role involves defending financial services companies in state and federal courts and handling matters such as foreclosures and title disputes for mortgage servicers and originators.

The candidate will work primarily with our Financial Services & Capital Markets team and must maintain an active bar license in the applicable jurisdiction.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience defending financial services clients in state and federal courts.
• Working knowledge of FCRA, FDCPA, RESPA, and other consumer protection statutes.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in state and federal courts on consumer finance matters.
• Advise on regulatory compliance and risk management related to consumer lending.
• Collaborate with the Financial Services & Capital Markets group to develop litigation strategies.
