Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Consumer Finance Litigation Senior Counsel with at least eight years of relevant experience. The firm is open to multiple offices, including The Link, its virtual office, with California, Texas, Florida, New Jersey, New York, or Ohio licenses strongly preferred.

The ideal candidate will defend financial services in state and federal courts, with knowledge of FCRA, FDCPA, RESPA, and related statutes, and may represent mortgage servicers/originators in foreclosures

Qualifications

• Experience defending financial services in state and federal courts.
• Knowledge of FCRA, FDCPA, and RESPA.
• Experience representing mortgage servicers/originators in foreclosures or title disputes.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in consumer finance litigation across jurisdictions.
• Advise on regulatory compliance and risk in lending practices.
• Collaborate with Financial Services & Capital Markets team.
