The role may be based in any office or via our virtual office, The Link; candidates licensed in CA, TX, FL, NJ, NY or OH are strongly preferred. You will defend financial services in state and federal courts, with knowledge of FCRA, FDCPA, RESPA and related statutes.

Qualifications

• Experience in consumer finance litigation
• Knowledge of federal and state consumer protection statutes
• Experience defending mortgage servicers or originators in related actions

Responsibilities

• Defend financial services companies in state and federal courts
• Assist in contested foreclosures and title disputes
• Work with the Financial Services & Capital Markets unit to develop legal strategies
