Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP seeks a Consumer Finance Litigation Senior Counsel with at least eight years of relevant experience. The role supports the Financial Services & Capital Markets unit and involves defending financial services clients in state and federal courts, including matters under FCRA, FDCPA, and RESPA.

The position may be based in any office, including The Link virtual office; California, Texas, Florida, New Jersey, New York, or Ohio licensing is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of relevant litigation experience in consumer finance matters.
• Experience defending financial services companies in state and federal courts.
• Working knowledge of FCRA, FDCPA, RESPA, and other consumer protection statutes.
• Experience representing mortgage servicers/originators in contested foreclosures, title disputes, and related claims.
• Active bar license in the state of the office or commitment to obtain one promptly.
• Candidates for virtual office must be licensed in their residence state.
