Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Consumer Finance Litigation Senior Counsel with eight or more years of relevant experience for a national practice. This role supports mortgage servicing and origination disputes across state and federal courts.

Candidates must have knowledge of FCRA, FDCPA, RESPA, and related statutes; active bar license in the appropriate state or commitment to obtain it; and the ability to manage multiple matters with professional polish.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of relevant experience in consumer finance litigation.
• Experience defending financial services in state and federal courts.
• Knowledge of FCRA, FDCPA, RESPA and related statutes.
• Active bar license in the state of the office or a commitment to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Litigate consumer finance matters in state and federal courts.
• Advise on mortgage servicing/origination disputes and related claims.
• Collaborate with the Financial Services & Capital Markets team.
• Demonstrate judgment, ability to manage multiple projects and professional demeanor.
