Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP seeks a Consumer Finance Litigation Senior Counsel with at least eight years of relevant experience. We will consider candidates for any office, including our virtual office, The Link, with preference for those licensed in CA, TX, FL, NJ, NY, or OH.

The candidate will defend financial services clients in state and federal courts and handle matters involving mortgage servicers and/or originators.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of relevant experience in consumer finance litigation.
• Active bar license in the state of practice or commitment to obtain promptly.
• Experience defending financial services companies in state and federal courts.
• Familiarity with FCRA, FDCPA, RESPA and related consumer protection statutes.

Responsibilities

• Defend financial services clients in state and federal courts.
• Represent mortgage servicers and/or originators in foreclosures and related disputes.
• Collaborate with the Financial Services & Capital Markets team to develop legal strategy.
