Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking an Associate Director of Benefits & Payroll to lead design, governance, and ongoing management of employee benefits, payroll and retirement programs. This senior role partners with Finance, People & Culture, and external partners to drive strategic Total Rewards initiatives while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• CEBS, CPP, SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred.
• Eight to ten years of progressively responsible experience in benefits, payroll and/or Total Rewards.
• Experience in a large law firm or other professional services organization.
• Strong knowledge of applicable payroll, benefits and retirement regulations including ERISA, IRS, DOL, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA.
• Experience with UKG Pro and related HR technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and ongoing management of health, welfare, and retirement benefit programs.
• Oversee payroll governance and multi-state processing.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and successful audits of benefit and retirement plans.
• Partner with Finance, HR Technology and external vendors to optimize systems and processes.
• Lead and develop the Benefits & Payroll team to deliver excellent employee experience.
