Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking an Associate Director of Benefits & Payroll to lead health and retirement programs, payroll governance, and well-being initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Director of HR Operations & Total Rewards, you will drive program design, governance, and compliance across ERISA, IRS, DOL and HIPAA obligations while partnering with Finance, People & Culture, and external vendors.

The role offers remote work options across the United States and requires leadership experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required.
• Eight to ten years of progressive experience in benefits, payroll and/or Total Rewards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, governance and ongoing management of benefits, payroll and retirement programs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (ERISA, IRS, DOL, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA) across plans.
• Partner with Finance, People & Culture and external vendors to optimize Total Rewards services.
• Provide leadership for the Benefits, Payroll, and Well-Being initiatives and programs.
