Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking an Associate Director of Benefits & Payroll to lead the design, delivery and oversight of our global Total Rewards programs. Reporting to the Senior Director of HR Operations & Total Rewards, you will drive strategy, governance and operational excellence across benefits, retirement and wellbeing initiatives.

You will partner with Finance, external brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliant, competitive programs that support our talent and business

Qualifications

• Eight to ten years of progressively responsible experience in benefits, payroll and/or Total Rewards.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
• Experience in a large law firm or other professional services organization is preferred.
• Experience leading teams and cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS, DOL, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA and state wage-hour regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and management of health, welfare, and retirement benefit programs.
• Oversee payroll operations across multiple states with regulatory compliance.
• Partner with Finance, HR, and external vendors to optimize Total Rewards.
• Provide governance and strategic direction for retirement and well-being programs.
