Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. is seeking a Fire Protection Senior Engineering Manager for Nuclear Services. The role leads Post-Fire Safe Shutdown/Fire Protection efforts to ensure NRC compliance and plant safety across multiple office locations, including Naperville, IL.

You will lead a diverse team, drive engineering project execution, regulatory compliance, and business development with clients, while aligning staffing and technical direction in a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (fire protection or mechanical preferred)
• PE license required
• 10+ years engineering experience including project leadership
• Strong knowledge of applicable industry codes, standards, and regulations
• Technical leadership and decision-making
• Communication and influence

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Provide technical direction and ensure regulatory compliance for Post-Fire Safe Shutdown/Fire Protection.
• Act as primary client interface for engineering execution and technical matters; support proposals and growth.
• Lead matrix engineering teams; staff planning and performance input.
• Ensure adherence to ENERCON QA processes and drive continuous improvement.
