Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs in a mobile/field environment. The role requires diagnosing and repairing electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems on light to heavy-duty vehicles, with admin duties on repair orders via iOS tools.

Typically Monday–Friday with possible weekends per client needs; must live in the specified city/region and can work remotely.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus related field experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light to heavy vehicles in the field.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Maintain and manage parts inventory and document work performed on RO forms.
