Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light to medium repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose, service, and test diesel vehicles, manage parts on the service truck, and document findings using an iOS app.

This role requires DOT compliance, ASE certification progression, and independent scheduling. Shift is Tuesday to Saturday with the option to work remotely while living in the specified location; Cox Fleet offers paid training

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ related field experience.
• Alternative combos with higher education or 5 years’ related field experience accepted.
• Must obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months and meet DOT/FMCSA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections and repairs on mobile/field vehicles.
• Diagnose, adjust and repair electrical/ brake/cooling systems and diesel equipment.
• Inspect, test and road test vehicles to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain service truck, manage parts and document RO findings via TRAIT app.
