Job summary

Idaho Power — located in Boise, Idaho — is seeking an IT Client Services Specialist I or II to join our Information Technology team. This role provides first-line tech support, diagnosing and resolving incidents across hardware, software, and networks, and documents issues using our knowledge base.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required for I.
• Associates degree or technical vocational certification in IT preferred for II.
• Experience in technical support or customer service in a corporate environment preferred for I.
• Experience in technical support via phone in a corporate environment preferred for II.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, resolve, and manage incidents and service requests across hardware, software, OS, applications, networks, peripherals, remote access, and mobile devices.
• Document and categorize incidents using the knowledge base and ITSM procedures.
• Use phone, email, and remote tools to restore service efficiently.
• Advanced troubleshooting and routing to second-level support as needed.
