Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA is seeking a Manager, Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive growth through strategic projects and new business opportunities, including digital health and investments. The role involves extensive interaction with senior management and regular travel to the Lake Zurich, IL headquarters, with remote work possible for select candidates.

Requirements include a science/finance degree, an MBA preferred, 5+ years in BD/M&A/Strategy, and 3+ years in healthcare.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical/finance field required; MBA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years in Business Development, M&A, Strategy and analytics; 3+ years in healthcare.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, and companies/assets including startups across Fresenius business areas.
• Lead project management with functional leads and cross-functional teams through due diligence, business case development, and board approvals.
• Prepare pitch documents to align management and prioritize inorganic targets.
• Manage internal strategic portfolio analysis, evaluate new business areas, and model scenarios.
• Build valuations for target assets using DCF, NPV, and precedent analyses.
• Drive inorganic opportunities from identification to execution.
