Job summary

Arizona Office of Economic Opportunity seeks a Grants Compliance Specialist to monitor subrecipient financial compliance, review records for 2 CFR Part 200, and plan risk-based monitoring. The role supports CMS/HHS-funded Rural Health Transformation efforts and requires strong analytical and reporting skills.

The position may offer remote work within Arizona; it reports to the Grants and Compliance Manager and is grant-funded.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with federal grant programs and 2 CFR Part 200 preferred.
• Strong analytical and report-writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct comprehensive subrecipient financial monitoring visits (desk reviews and on-site).
• Review subrecipient records for compliance with 2 CFR Part 200 and program requirements.
• Perform annual risk assessments and recommend monitoring intensity.
• Review single audit reports and track corrective actions.
• Provide technical assistance and develop compliance tools and trainings.
