Job summary

Arizona Office of Economic Opportunity seeks a RHTP Participant Engagement Specialist to ensure employment and training programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations. This role audits client files, manages subrecipient performance, and provides technical assistance on reporting systems.

The position supports CMS/HHS-funded programs and may offer remote work within Arizona based on performance and business needs. A Bachelor’s degree and 3–7+ years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of public policy & regulatory frameworks, CMS contract guidelines, and grant oversight.
• Experience conducting client file, eligibility, and financial audits with monitoring protocols.
• Ability to analyze complex program and financial data to assess performance and risk.
• Proficiency with Google Apps, MS Office, CRM platforms, and related compliance tools.

Responsibilities

• Audit client files, eligibility documentation, and financial records for compliance.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to contracts.
• Administer subcontracts and program service agreements; track performance metrics.
• Provide training on compliance requirements and reporting systems.
• Prepare regulatory reports and guidance for partners and staff.
• Investigate misconduct or fraud and develop corrective action plans.
