Job summary

Cable One is looking for an accounting professional to manage lease accounting and ASC 842 compliance, focusing on internal controls and accurate reporting.

You will support audits, prepare analyses and journal entries, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure precise financials. A Bachelor's in Accounting with 1+ year GL experience is preferred. Remote work is possible for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting.
• Minimum one year of practical general ledger accounting experience.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains lease accounting schedules in accordance with ASC 842.
• Develops understanding of end-to-end lease accounting processes and stakeholders.
• Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and related journal entries.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and investigates variances.
• Supports internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance.
• Completes special projects and monitors FASB/SEC/PCAOB disclosures.
