Job summary

Maximus seeks an Eligibility Verification Specialist to support FEHB/PSHB verification for enrollees. This remote CSR II role focuses on inbound calls, documenting interactions, and guiding users through portal submissions within privacy guidelines.

The position requires a high school diploma and at least 6 months of customer service experience, with eligibility for a Moderate Risk Public Trust background check. Remote work from within 50 miles of McAllen, TX is requested.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 6 months of customer service experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Moderate Risk Public Trust (5C) suitability determination, including background investigations, fingerprinting, credentialing, and security training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide inbound telephone support for FEHB/PSHB program enrollees.
• Assist enrollees with Portal access, login issues, and document upload using approved scripts.
• Authenticate callers before sharing case information and protect PII/PHI.
