Job summary

Amtech Electrocircuits is seeking a Business Development Representative to open new accounts for high-mix, quick-turn PCBA, box build, and wire harness work. You should already have relationships with engineers and OEM buyers and can bring a pipeline on day one.

This role offers a remote position with base salary and commissions, and provides benefits as a full-time employee of a growing contract electronics manufacturer based in Michigan.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in PCBA, PCB fabrication, EMS/CEM, or electronic component distribution.
• Active relationships with engineers and buyers who need high-mix, quick-turn builds.
• Proven track record of opening new accounts and bringing in RFQs.
• Self-sufficient generator of new leads, not dependent on company to supply them.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.

Responsibilities

• Open new accounts in quick-turn, prototype, NPI, and high-mix.
• Bring qualified RFQs from engineers, hardware startups, and OEM buyers.
• Work with engineering to set expectations on lead time, DFM, and capability.
• Negotiate and close deals, and manage from first contact to first order.
• Hand off to customer service for repeat orders.
• Keep pipeline and activity current in HubSpot.
